World famous pixels, put in their proper order
The Genesis Collection
50 unique 1-of-1s
"I couldn't help but notice that your pixels were in disarray."
This collection works to lower the entropy of well-known artworks, and reveal the hidden chromatic logic underpinning each. In the imagined physics of this artistic universe, dark pigments succumb to the downard pull of gravity, while light ones rise towards the heavens.
Abstract works of art can feel arbitrary, ahistorical, or without context. This collection seeks to honor the aesthetics of abstract art, while also creating pieces firmly grounded via the specifics of their respective underlying seed pieces and the procedural steps used to transform each one.
The owner of each piece gains access to a high-quality static image suitable for printing, as well as a seamlessly-looping video which reveals the seed piece and organizational process.
